Arrivée

Avion depuis Tahiti et charmant accueil avec un collier de fleur par mon hôte 🙂

Visite

  • Mohai: Tahai et Tongariki sont vraiment très beaux (mais essentiellement car ils ont été restaurés),

  • Ana Kena: Moai et plage ainsi qu’Ovahe, autre petite plage isolée,

  • marches aller et autostop au retour: de Ana Kai Tangato à Rana Kau/Orongo, de Hanga Roa à Ana Tepeu (caves autour),

  • Rano Raruku,

  • snorkelling près de Motu Iti/Motu Nui et sa très bonne visibilité (jusqu’à 17m), et tortue dans le petit port,

  • apéro, mango sour (Pisco + jus de mangue),
  • mini-concert et bbq avec le voisin Thomas.

sur l’île, déplacement soit en voiture, soit en auto-stop.

Un regret, ne pas avoir été là pour Tapati, le festival annuel de l’île de Pâques qui se tient la première quinzaine de février … mais bon ce sera pour une prochaine fois 🙂

Visit

  • Mohai: Tahai and Tongariki are, for me, the most beautiful (but restored),
  • Ana Kena: Moai and beach. There is also a small more protected beach Ovahe;
  • walk and hitchhiking: Ana Kai Tangato to Rana Kau/Orongo, Hanga Roa to Ana Tepeu (caves),
  • Rano Raruku,
  • snorkelling near Motu Iti/Motu Nui and very good visibility (can be up to 17m). There is also one (more?) big turtle that you can see sometimes in the small pier of Hanga Roa,
  • aperitif, mango sour (Pisco + mango juice),
  • small concert and bbq with our very kind neighbour Thomas.

And another time, I will have to come back for Tapati, Rapa Nui’s annual festival 🙂
