Arrivée

Pas vraiment arrivé de la façon prévue mais bon 🙂 Je pensais prendre le bus La Serena – Iquique mais les vacances chiliennes et la fiesta de la Tirana les avaient rempli pour les 3-4 prochains jours … J’ai donc pris un bus de nuit La Serena – Antofagasta (encore disponible) et ensuite retour au mode autostop pour faire Antofagasta – Iquique.

Trajet globalement sans anicroche, une météo clémente (soleil/couvert qui évitait de se faire carboniser dans le désert) font que j’ai pu faire le trajet en une journée (d’autres voyageurs l’ont fait en 1.5j avec une nuit sur la plage).

Arrival

As I was not aware of the chilean vacation and of the impact of Fiesta de la Tirana, I discocered at La Serena bus terminal that all bus to Iquique were full for next days. I managed to take a night bus La Serena – Antofogasta and hitchhike the day after for the last part of the road. No problem for me and in one day, I managed to arrive with a good weather (a bit covered to avoid being dryed by desert sun). Seen other travellers who had to sleep on the beach and made it in 1.5 day.
