Je suis passé il y a quelques jours en Colombie, ma dernière étape en Amérique du sud.

Pas vraiment d’itinéraire prévu, à construire. De Pasto, Popayan près de la frontière Tulcan-Rumichaca-Ipiales jusqu’à Carthagène et la côte côté Caraïbes, en passant bien sûr par Bogota.

Même si le pays a une mauvaise réputation du point de vue sécurité vu des pays occidentaux, beaucoup de sud-américains et d’expats m’ont recommandé ce pays et expliqué qu’avec la chute (partielle ou non) des FARC, le pays est beaucoup moins dangereux qu’il ne le fût (même s’il faut rester un minimum vigilant … comme partout) et que les paysages sont magnifiques et la population très accueillante.

I crossed a few days ago the border and arrived in Colombia, my last country for south America.

Not really any fixed path, building with the road. Starting from Pasto, Popayan near Tulcan-Rumichaca-Ipiales border to Carthagena on the carribian coast, and through Bogota.

Even if the country have sort of bad reputation in many western countries, a lot of south-american and expats people recommended me Colombia and explained safety was not as bad it was before fall of FARC (even if you have to stay a bit vigilant … but like anywhere) and landscape are beautifuls and very kind people.
